We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Family Violence Case Manager to join our highly respected Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) Team in Albury.

This is more than a case management role. You will support Aboriginal individuals and families impacted by family violence through culturally safe, trauma-informed care, advocacy, referrals and ongoing support.

Working alongside a multidisciplinary team and trusted community partners, you will help people navigate difficult times while reconnecting them with the services, supports and opportunities they need to heal and thrive.

About You

·  Minimum Diploma of Community Services (or equivalent) or currently undertaking a relevant qualification.

·  Demonstrated experience supporting Aboriginal people and families affected by family violence, or a genuine commitment to building a career in the family violence sector.

·  Strong understanding of trauma-informed practice and culturally safe service delivery

·  Confident providing case management, risk assessment, advocacy and referrals

·  Able to build respectful relationships with clients, families and partner agencies

·  Committed to empowering Aboriginal people through compassionate, holistic support

Eligibility

This is an Identified Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Position. Proof of Aboriginality is a genuine occupational requirement under Section 14 of the Anti-Discrimination Act.
