We are now looking for reliable and community-minded Transport Drivers to join our team and play an important role in supporting our clients.
About the role:
As a Transport Driver, you will help ensure clients can safely access medical and specialist appointments, while providing a positive and supportive experience along the way.
This is a highly valued role where you’ll be the friendly face of AWAHS in the community.
Key responsibilities:
- Transport clients safely to and from appointments
- Assist with delivery of prescriptions and other items
- Provide a respectful, professional and culturally safe service
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, fuel and weekly safety checks
- Complete journey records and vehicle logbooks
- Support with appointment bookings and phone enquiries
- Promote AWAHS services within the community
About you:
You are someone who enjoys helping others and takes pride in providing a reliable and respectful service.
You will bring:
- A safe driving history (driving record required)
- Good knowledge of the Albury/Wodonga area
- Strong communication skills and cultural awareness
- The ability to stay organised and solve problems on the go
- A current Driver’s Licence
